Sundays:

Our 9.45 am service is popular with families of all ages.  The style is contemporary, relaxed and interactive, with a mix of music from traditional hymns to current Christian praise and worship.  The congregation ranges from grandparents and great grandparents, to our youngest member, just a few months old.

During term time, children share in the main program for around 15 minutes, then they join their own program called ‘SALT Club’.  SALT Club is for children aged 2 years to Year 7.  Some children also contribute by welcoming, reading the Bible in church, operating the data projector, serving morning tea, or participating in the music team.  Contact Katie Peken 0428 724 072 for more information.

High school students often stay in the main service throughout, but some like to help out in SALT Club, while others serve in the music group, or participate in the service by reading the Bible passage, leading prayer, operating the p.a. or data projector.  Our youth get together for a social activity and devotion off-site once a month, camping, hiking, playing outdoor games, having barbeques or pizzas together, camping, or watching a movie. Contact Katie Peken 0428 724 072 for more information.

During the week:

For families with preschoolers, ‘mainly music’ is a great 9-week program that runs on Wednesday mornings during school terms, and is open to anyone;  parents or carers interact with their littlies as they are introduced to different musical styles and rhythms, songs, dancing, actions and simple instruments.  We meet at 9.45 am, the program is 30 minutes, then there’s a relaxed morning tea and opportunity to get to know each other.  Families are asked to commit for the term, to ensure there is enough equipment for everyone.

Young adults participate in home groups, and for committed gamers there’s Games Night fortnightly where we meet in a leader’s home and play electronic as well as table-top games.  For more information, contact Katie Peken 0428 724 072.

Several ‘home groups’ meet during the week, to study the Bible, pray for and support each other, or discuss current issues from the Christian viewpoint.  Two with a particularly family flavour meet on Friday nights, and one for young mums on Friday mornings.  Other groups meet on Wednesday evening, Thursday morning, and Monday morning.  Ask our ministry staff for more information.
