Warragul is sleepy in summer, so from 31st December to the 21st January we’re combining our 8 am and 9.45 am services, and meeting at 9am for a relaxed service of Holy Communion.
Lots of young families are away at this time of year, so our SALT Club leaders are taking a break; but kids aren’t forgotten! Every second Sunday we provide colouring, craft and puzzles to help kids enjoy the service with their families, and a play dough table for the littlies; and on alternate weeks they are invited to watch an age-appropriate (Bible-based) DVD during the sermon, supervised by volunteers who have current Working With Children clearance.
Over summer we also have occasional social events, like afternoon tea in the hall, or maybe a picnic in the park or someone’s back yard. Check our online calendar and facebook page for what’s coming up. Everyone’s welcome!
